These are some talking points at the City of Cape Canaveral I will bring
up tonight.

1) I want to bring up my 'green paper idea' that I introduced fall of last year. Do you still have the copy I gave you? The city officials were going to look at how beneficial the solar collectors were at Manatee Park. I think as a city we may want to look at alternative energy and sustainability as part of the community visioning process. Start off small and maybe see if we can subsidize the water treatment center with alternative energy. There was a green audit. Is there an official release on the findings from that? Remember Green is the color of money too so all this is inter-related.

My name is Wade Wilson and I am President of Legacy Energy Group, LLC. Our primary focus at this time is Community Wind and Biomass Power projects. These type projects support local economies with good-paying jobs; landowner fees; and, taxes paid to schools, towns, counties and others.

A community organization such as Cities, Counties, Schools, Economic Development Organizations, Non-Profits or most groups serving the community as a whole may participate in up to 20% ownership of a wind farm with no capital expenditures and they have the OPTION to increase participation by an additional 10% with very little capital outlay. This program helps promote energy independence as well as providing good paying green jobs within the community and provides long term income that stays in the community.

Our program includes all development capital as well as construction funding. If you would like to help promote a community wind project in your community please join our group or contact us for more information. We are currently working on several projects and are more than willing to give references to serious parties.

Thank you,

Wade

I am planning to attend the Business luncheon again this Thursday
at Sunrise Bank in Cocoa Beach. Free food and good time to network with other business people. If you plan to show, let me know and we can have our Picken's table. I will be happy to share the plans for my next luncheon on Oct 4. on Local Projects. Even give you the flyer I worked up.

Agenda for luncheon meeting.

1) People get food sit down eat brief chat.
2) Call meeting to order.
3) Intro time, everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves and say anything on their mind. 2-3 minutes. (max) Items could include upcoming events, what they would like to see.

4) Program starts on the topic of :Local Projects. I start with my
ideas that I posted here and then we go around the group and see
if anybody else has something they would like to see done locally.

5) Discussion about next meeting, where, when, who they would like to see as guest speaker.

6) We break up, people either sit and around and talk or go and pay for their bill. approx 1:30pm

If anybody has other ideas on how they would like to see the meeting go then post a response. But I have been organizing groups and this one of the best formulae to getting things done rather than just talk.

Remember this is about "walking the talk" a "thousand points of light" a group that is proactive about "works". We encourage our guest to 'share a ride'. If you have a distance of more than 15 miles consider meeting up with "Picken's People" from your area and meet up and drive on over
together.

PS. Be prepared to talk to press and media people. Get your facts straight if you do talk to them.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the meeting this Saturday as I'm out of town most weekends. Hope to get together with you all soon! As far as local projects, I'd like to see about getting a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station somewhere around here. Actually, I'd like to see these pop up all over the country. It would be practical to start placing CNG stations along interstates nation-wide, allowing people to drive a CNG vehicle virtually anywhere. Compressed natural gas is an environmentally-friendly way to rid ourselves of our dependence on foriegn oil. Honda produces a CNG vehicle and I understand there is a waiting list of several months for people to get these vehicles. They are especially popular in Utah. I believe more automakers would build CNG vehicles if CNG stations were more plentiful. The nearest CNG station to us (that I know of) is in West Palm Beach. Western New York has a few stations around Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
