- First of all, I live10 miles south of a Noble(Altona) wind farm.
Environmental stewardship is something my local group has been studing & we have just formed a new StewardshipCommittee for active environment education.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Trying what I can do to get Stimulus $s for the NYS electrical grid's growing wind farm connectivity issues and see about defining a GRID Corridor with Government agencies which would connect the North County, NYC, & PA. Long Island was last years NYSERA attention getter!. The rest of the Stae is important and needs to understand our connection. The North Country is after all the biggest NYS Wind Resource owner.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Understand who does what for whom and where the action should take place in the State(NY) that operates under "HOME RULE" written into in it's Constitution.
This makes every action very hard to identify and track!
We do need to get all Alternative Energy working to be Energy Independent of OIL interests. No being held hostage in the future!

Click and you will see a list of options that will automatically link you to your federal and state representatives and the Governor of your state.
The Pledge-Fax Your Statement!!
Please read, sign, and fax to the number listed at the bottom of the Pledge page. It would be a great help to the Community if you could download the pledge, distribute, and persuade others to sign. The Community feels this is the best way to get the attention of state and federal lawmakers. Kim Anderson has other types of sign-up sheets. This is a great way to let lawmakers know of your interest in the reduction of foreign oil.
