Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I am 100% pro-windpower. Call me a propellerhead, but i designed the windfarm blades / mastered the surface profiles for American Windpower at Altamont pass. I have double Masters Degrees from WPI in Mechanical Engineering , Materials Science and Management.

http://www.ctngreen.com/energy - this is a better solution.
What excites you about this campaign?
Keep in mind that Pickens Plan at the start is a Texas Experiment for the Texas grid ( separate from US grid ) and its being headed by a powerful corporate raider in T Boone Pickens. This is why it has a chance. If it proves out in PAMPA then it will work in a lot of other places. It is very hard to get baseload levels of generation at ground level windflow -- i want to see this work... I prefer the Jetstream. Go up a few miles or as high as 300mb and you have 100mph stratified airflow. 24hour Power.
What do you want to do to help?
Multimedia and events ... I think educating people on the benefits of all this should be a priority.

Bailout Blues

This Bailout blows. Years ago republicans had Greenspan lower the Fed Rate to 1% and allowed subprime (No Doc ) loans at way too low a rate to property priced way over its value. Would have been ok if only 100,000 such notes were written, but millions of these loans were done to the tune of just under 15 trillion $ in at-Market-Value was written. The payment curves on them meant that the person who had the loan was paying NOTHING into equity untill several years into the loan, so now you have br… Continue

Nice profile you have. I really like your view on things... Greener environment, eco-friendly cars and a lot more... Maybe you'd like to try flowmaster exhaust systems to make your car even more eco-friendly.

Hello Jeff,

I'm always thrilled by the cre8ive energy that radiates from your page. I apologize for not being in closer contact of late. My work with Virgin Moon Trading has had me traveling and deep in initiatives. Back in October you mentioned wanting to work/start a job board platform. It just so happens that I'm undertaking a recruiting project on behalf of a global recruiting company specialized in gas and oil. I'm in search of talent such as engineers and scientists with 10-15 years experience...positions I have to fill are dotted around the globe.

I'd be interested in learning where you are in that initiative.. when I have the opportunity, I'll take a new look at CTN Green, and know that I salute you in your tremendous work.

All the best,

Thanks I agree, but the big companies would rather take than deal, and they are more likely to let things be buried for profit.
I know I have a long hard road, help if you can. I am trying to make this an American export.

Jeff, the mag is an impressive effort. Keep up the good work. I run the largest ngv owners website on the net, cngchat.com. Worth a look when you have time. The site is over 4000 members, many from the utilities, Clean Energy, Sempra Utilities, Honda, Questar, and just about anyone in the Natural Gas industry that knows it exists. 1 year old today and rowing at 100+ members a week. RoseMarie suggested we bump heads, glad she did.

Hey, Jeff, I read your invite to Donna, and could not agree more that she would make a great contributor.
I thought you might be interested to read my blog - http://push.pickensplan.com/profiles/blog/list?user=1gzub16oqme8a
I am a bit long-winded (some say just windy!), but I am an engineer, well experienced in practical application, fluent in 3 languages, quite creative, and I do know my stuff about far too many inter-related, and totally unrelated, subjects.
I am real handy to have around when no one else seems to be able to connect the dots.
Also, I just got a group page up on here - ,http://push.pickensplan.com/group/amass
You being another of the greater minds I have come across on here, I would appreciate it if you would take the time to join.
It is restricted to the invited, but I think we might all find it very stimulating to discuss the weightier questions of the day with other big thinkers!
Sincerely, Larry M. Aden

Hey Jeff,
(my apologies for the cookie-cutter invite Jeff but it saves so much time!)

I want to invite you to check out the Artists Round-Up group.

Because I knew of no other way to do this on this site I decided to create the project in the form of a group. Although, at least in it's beginning stages, the group is really more of a roster for artists to sign in and make themselves know to each other and to all those who are involved in the Pickens Plan than it is an actual group. It is possible though, and not unexpected, that it perhaps will sooner or later evolve into being a genuine group and doing and having as a genuine group.

For now though, I both invite and encourage you to at least go and check the group out. Once you see the set up you'll know whether it's for you or not. And if the purpose of the Artists Round-Up group does not indicate to you maybe there are others you know who might be interested. In such a cirucumstance I would, of course, appreciate your telling them about the group.

Thanks.

Monte
