- Before Mr. T. Boone Pickens decided to lead the way and find a solution to the energy crisis, many Americans worked individually or in a group to find solutions. Sometime their work did not materialize for lack of funds. Some ideas were developed past the prototype stage all the way to the US Patent, but for multiple reasons were never produced or commercialized.
I would like to call on everyone who has worked in the energy field to submit patented works and research results. The time has come to present your ideas again here in this positive, open environment. This will create a VIRTUAL STORE OF ENERGY SOLUTIONS - a virtual inventory of solutions, without having to take years reinventing the wheel. The eyes of the world are on PickensPlan. To help is time to speak up.
It would be very beneficial for this Plan if, as members, we could separate the philosophical discussions, the request for better government, and hypothetical energy solutions to be invented from what has been already started or done. Here, I would like to focus on EXISTING patented work not put to use, prototypes of energy saving devices, new energy production systems and solutions to be patented.

I am an observer of people and have contributed most of my life to the areas of criminology and human resources. I spent my early years near the oil patches in West Texas, where gas was 18 cents a gallon. I have always held the opinion that we needed to advance alternatives to oil. I'm optimistic now that there might be some new innovations during the next few years.
