One Megawatt Fuel Cell Plant at CalState Northridge CA

While at present this power plant still uses fossil fuels (the natural gas is needed in order to extract the hydrogen from it), in the future the hydrogen will be generated either from landfill gas, or else it will be electrolyzed using wind, solar, geothermal, wave or hydroelectric energy. What is most important and exciting about this plant is the fact that it is using fuel cells--touted to be the future of electricity generation--today, and they are working seamlessly on a large scale.

Hydrogen was the first fuel used in an Internal Combustion Engine in an automobile. The patenet was issued in 1809. Nothing new about hydrogen. We can all use it if we want to !

Heres how I see it - Hydrogen Plants will be located at current gas stations. They will produce Hydrogen using electrolysis process from solar/wind power.

Did I mention I dont know crap about this science

Anyway ... I thought there was a way that this Hydrogen can then make electricity really good. Therefore - all cars become electric.

Am I on the right track here?
